Mrs. Heather Cobb

Counselor , MA , LPC

(678) 932-8853
Each person I meet with is unique. As a counselor, I love getting to know each individual and helping them to grow. There are some areas of counseling that I especially enjoy and have grown to be areas of expertise. These include working with women, couples, adolescents and children. My graduate training equipped me with skills in counseling teens, adults and couples. In pursuing licensure, I took additional coursework to equip me to work with children. I have experience counseling in community, school and church settings.
As a wife and mother of 4 children, I am passionate about helping women who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, parenting, boundary-setting and relationship difficulties. I have training in the Gottman approach to couples counseling and find joy in helping couples strengthen their marriages.
My experience in working with children and youth includes 10 years of work as an elementary guidance counselor and over 17 years as a youth leader at my church. I have also been a foster parent and have led parenting workshops for foster parents.
