Dr. Anvar has trained with renowned authors and Jungian analysts June Singer, PhD and Kay Bradway, PhD specializing in dream work and active imagination; with Transpersonal psychologists Robert Frager, PhD in somatic body work and Jack Kornfield, PhD in breath/meditation practices and with James Bugental, PhD in Existential Psychology.

Dr. Anvar is also a visual artist having exhibited both nationally and locally. She has taught psychology of creativity at UC Berkeley at Dominican - helping students to resolve creative blocks. Additionally, her life journey as a cross-cultural person has added to her sensitivity and insight into its related issues, enabling her to provide understanding and appropriate treatment.”
