“I often use a cognitive-behavioral approach, which focuses on helping people work through, and change, problematic thoughts and behaviors. This is an effective type of therapy for a wide range of issues and is the primary reason for its popularity. I use a variety of creative strategies to help clients move toward more satisfying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that people who come to me for help already have the answers to their own issues - they just need guidance to find those answers. My role is helping clients raise their level of self-awareness regarding current life choices.

I provide therapy for adult (18 years and older) individuals, couples, and groups in these areas: -Anxiety/Panic -Depression -Eating Issues -Low Self Esteem -Relationship Issues -Mid-Life Issues -Obsessive-Compulsive -Attention-Deficit -Grief -Stress Management -Communication -Career issues. I conduct periodic workshops that focus on building Life's skills.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor I'm trained to apply the principles of psychotherapy and human development theory in diagnosis and treatment of emotional disorder and dysfunctional behavior in individuals, couples, and groups. Mental health counseling is a distinct profession with national standards for education, training and clinical practice.”
