“I am a clinical psychologist who works with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and other difficulties. I specialize in the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). It is my belief that I can best help different clients in different ways, and I tailor my style to the needs of each client. I specialize in treating OCD and other forms of anxiety using therapies that have been proven effective. My practice also involves mindfulness-based therapy, as described in the writings of Jon Kabat-Zinn.

My style in therapy focuses on treating symptoms of depression, anxiety, or stress. Therapy typically focuses on how your thinking and actions affect anxiety, stress, and mood. Cognitive-behavioral therapy has been shown to be very effective for various types of anxiety and depresssion.

I am also a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and colleagues. MBSR is based on the practice of meditation and has been demonstrated to be effective for people struggling with anxiety, chronic pain, and other conditions.”
