My ideal client wants to learn how to move forward and take responsibility for every area of their lives. They are not interested in trying to change others to make themselves happier, but realize that change must begin with themselves. They may struggle with issues such as : relationships, addictions, co-addiction, sexually compulsive behaviours, codependency, interpersonal conflict, depression or anxiety, infidelity, anger issues, past abuse or trauma, family of origin issues, or just a general feeling of being unsatisfied with life. Clients will often say that going into counselling was one of the best decisions they ever made.

My specialty is in dealing with sexually compulsive behaviours, such as Internet and pornography addiction, affairs, anonymous sex, chat rooms, sexting, online "dating", hooking up, escorts, massage parlours, prostitutes, swapping, swinging, and phone sex. I also work with the partners and families of addicts.

I have been trained by the American Association of Sex Addiction Therapists and am currently in supervision to become (the only) certified Sex Addiction Therapist in Ontario. I also offer Skype and telephone counselling to those who cannot personally come to my office.
