Ms. Paula Metzger

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , MSW , LCSW

(201) 350-7697
I bring 18 years of pastoral counseling experience to my clinical practice with adults, children, couples and families. My clinical and pastoral background gives me the opportunity to provide a gentle calming presence and a compassionate understanding to my work with individuals and families who struggle with managing life's challenges related to behavioral issues, anxiety, and depression. I also assist children and parents in adjusting to life transitions due to separation and divorce and dealing with loss and grief.
I am a dedicated professional who uses cognitive behavioral techniques to enhance personal growth and bring about individual change. My approach is supportive and caring as I help individuals and families heal and thrive through learning effective relationship skills, healthy stress management and effective coping mechanisms.
Wherever you are in your life journey, you are not alone. I will meet you there and help guide you to where you desire to be. Along with my MSW, LCSW, I hold an MA in Pastoral Counseling and a BA in Criminal Justice.
