Ms. Rachelle Hardin-Moniz

Hi, my name is Rachelle Hardin-Moniz. When considering what I would want you to know if you are thinking of me for a potiential therapist I say, I am committed to assisting my clients in engaging in a therapeutic relationship based on engagement, openess, and removal of their symptoms and pain. I strive to facilitate growth and improved quality of life. I have been practicing for over 25 years. I am treating a variety of clientele. Their ages are from 14 to 72 years of age. Both males and females. The common thread is childhood trauma and it's effects.

I like to have a wide range of different clients in my practice. I consider diversity and balance as helpful to me. It keeps me fresh and learning. My stance is that of therapeutic pluralism in which effective interventions are taken from several different therapeutic approaches. Primarly, interpersonal dynamics. I individualize.

I can work with most problems including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief, relational conflict, trauma(childhood & recent), maternal and child health issues(pregnancy, post-partum depression, pregnancy loss, infertility, abortion decisions),abusive relationships,as well as all major mental disorders. I also have working knowledge of substance abuse dynamics.
