I am currently accepting clients with UC Blue and Gold (Health Net). I provide a supportive place for clients to talk about anxiety and depression in their lives, lower stress and improve relationships. Sometimes this involves finding ways to slow down, identifying needs, improving communication and understanding patterns. Clients may begin to notice a renewed sense of well-being. Many clients notice that childhood wounds continue to impact their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I listen with empathy and compassion and work collaboratively - to help find growth, new insight and enhanced life satisfaction.
I specialize in helping folks with anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship challenges, grief and life transitions. I also provide consultation to those considering ENM. We work at your pace, mindfully. I am committed to helping you find relief, joy - - and meaning - - in the uniqueness of your life and experiences.
In practice 20 years, I have previously worked at the UCD Employee Assistance Program, Yolo Family Service Agency and in Private Practice. I have experience in research, academia, service, parenting, and life - all of which inform my work.
