Rick Ennis

I am licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist and Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky and am an approved supervisor for both disciplines. I am certified in Clinical Hypnosis and EMDR. I am a combat veteran and currently work with soldiers at the hospital on Fort Knox, in addition to this practice. I have a strong faith in the resources of individuals and focus on strengths versus deficits. I believe that answers come from within and will help you find your way through the challenges before you. I wish to see that you will need counseling less, and life more.

Clients often tell me that I am a "great listener" and that I "create space to go where I need to go." This is the sum of my relational orientation in counseling, that we all just want to heard, and need for someone to "get what I am talking about."

I am rigorous in self and professional development. I read a great deal,engage in colleague consultation, and supervise emerging professionals each month to help me "stay fresh." You will find that I am curious about you as a person, and interested in helping you realize your full potential.
