“I have been an educator and therapist all of my adult life, and I approach both from the perspective that I am helping people learn how to live better. I have found that some of the basic skills of stress management, anger management, and assertiveness are helpful building blocks for most folks, and then, as needed and wanted, there are many special skills to deal with special challenges that can be learned in counseling and therapy.

I work with clients from 3 years old to 103 years old, and I enjoy the special challenges of each one of them, whether it be ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, and so forth. I also enjoy everything from "Talk Therapy" to "Cognitive Behavior Therapy" to "Hypnotherapy" and beyond.

I have been in this field for over forty years and ride on the shoulders of the giants at whose feet I have sat, which includes teachers, mentors, colleagues, students, clients, friends, and family--and I love to share them with an ever-expanding circle of my fellow travelers.”
