“Dr. Robert E. McCarthy is a Licensed and Board Certified Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over thirty years experience in providing the assessment, diagnosis, remediation, and treatment for individuals with emotional, physical, neurological, and developmental problems; including, stroke victims. For the past two decades, Dr. McCarthy has specialized in providing QEEG, biofeedback, neurofeedback, hemoencephalography, and computerized cognitive training.

He and his professional colleagues work with the range of emotional, psychophysiological, neurological, and developmental problems referred by a variety of medical, educational, and community-based programs. His office is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art FDA-approved digital equipment and computerized software for performing quantitative electroencephalograms, biofeedback, and neurofeedback.

Dr. McCarthy is a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association, American Association of Integrative Medicine, and American College of Forensic Examiners. He is an Associate Fellow Certified in EEG by the Biofeedback Institute of America(BCIA), and Diplomate in Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, and Hemoencephalography with the Neurofeedback and Biofeedback Certification Board.”
