With over 25 years experience as a psychotherapist in New Orleans, I believe an individual's emotional growth is greatly accelerated by the process of psychotherapy. When one is able to be introspective in a setting where confidentiality is valued and trust is engendered, self knowledge grows and brings about greater personal satisfaction. Psychotherapy need not be intimidating. Most quickly settle into the process where greater freedom from self defeating behaviors is both a relief and an interesting endeavor.
