“Therapy doesn't have to be a long-term venture, and the sooner you address what's bothering you, often the briefer the therapy. With over 30 years of experience in my field, I am able to address with my clients a wide variety of issues. I believe in offering regular feedback and interaction, and I believe that most change occurs as we focus on possibilities and strengths in the present while also not neglecting, when important, the impact of the past.

As an out lesbian therapist, many of my clients identify as GLBT and many others present with their own unique differences and/or sense of minority status in the world.

I am the author of a novel, Minding Therapy, about a burnt-out therapist who finally stops resisting getting her own head shrunk, and its screenplay adaptation. As a writer, I enjoy working with clients who wish to address the special challenges associated with creativity.”
