Sometimes it seems there are no good choices, and we can become overwhelmed by current dilemmas and/or fearful of the road ahead. As you consider entering counseling, trust your instincts when deciding whether a particular therapist is a good resource for you. As with many relationships, a positive outcome has a lot to do with whether you are understood enough to feel safe, supported enough to sustain hope, and challenged enough to risk change as necessary. I work to provide a positive, safe climate for individuals, couples, and families to move forward in their personal lives in satisfying ways.
I have long experience in the marriage and family therapy field, including training and teaching. I respect the challenges my clients experience, and am humbled by the confidence they bestow in me. I offer first appointments within 7-10 days. My office hours are by appointment. Week-end hours are available on a limited basis.
I also consult to family members in business together regarding family dynamics within a business environment, business succession, and boards of governance. I facilitate family meetings, family councils, and developing your family's mission and legacy.
