I have a psychotherapy practice and offer assistance to adults, children and adolescents, as well as couples and parents. My clinical background is in the mental health field with experience and a particular interest in the following areas: difficulties in relationships, both past and current; the effects of trauma, abuse, separation and loss; bereavement and grief; symptoms of depression and anxiety; self-esteem difficulties, difficulties regulating anger and other emotional experiences; and specific problems in adolescence and young adulthood such as eating disorders, self-harming behaviours and substance use.

I have a PhD in clinical social work as well as a psychoanalytic training, with post-doctoral training in the area of attachment, trauma and loss.

I view the therapeutic process as a mutual one, sharing my knowledge and observations in both an exploration and a dialogue with my clients so that they are able to more fully understand and master the difficulties they experience.
