Some days we all need a little dose of courage to step out into the world. Sometimes though, feelings of hopelessness, fear or anger can really get in the way of experiencing life in a connected, creative way. Even children can feel overwhelmed by strong emotions. I am skilled in helping people identify and reconnect with their strengths. I offer my professional knowledge and experience to explore additional and/or alternative ways of coping that can lead to experiencing life and relationships in new and constructive ways. I have completed training in EMDR and use it to augment CBT techniques.

I am a practicing marriage and family therapist since 2005. I work with adults, children, couples and families. I view each client as unique and whose experience is influenced by circumstances of family history, relationships, community, culture, work, school, spirituality and physical health.

I offer individual, family or couple sessions. Therapy can be conducted on an individual basis however if your concerns have to do with managing and understanding relationships, it is sometimes helpful to invite those relevent individuals into the conversation (when appropriate). I utilize play therapy techniques with children.
