I have experienced that expressing your true feelings can be stressful, difficult and scary. Our anxiety increases and we tend to use acting out behaviors (yelling, sarcasm, defensiveness, etc.). These behaviors may stem from or lead to depression, sadness, poor self esteem and hopelessness
