From conventional to alternative approaches, I draw upon a variety of styles and techniques selecting what might be most helpful for each client. I'm a supportive, solution-focused, eclectic therapist and have worked with children, adolescents and adults for the past twelve years. Sometimes I might use a cognitive approach, helping someone to understand and challenge their thinking. At other times, I might use an experiential approach helping someone to experience or view a situation in a new way. Or, I might utilize a behavioral approach in helping a person to overcome their fears or bad habits.

I commonly see clients struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, infertility, relationship issues, family problems (including parenting through divorce) and substance abuse. I also have specific training in working with trichotillomania. I provide weekly Mind/Body groups for infertility and also enjoy providing relaxation training.

I am a professional member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, RESOLVE and the Trichotillomania Learning Center.
