Dr. Sarah R Brotsky

I provide a free phone consultation and will address any questions you may have about the therapy process prior to us meeting face to face. As a doctor of clinical psychology, I utilize a combination of narrative, cognitive behavioral, and humanistic approaches when treating individuals who suffer with various mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. I also specialize in the treament of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and/or Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) as well as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Closed Head Injury, and chronic physical pain difficulties.

I work with both adolescent and adult clients in a private practice setting and believe in the "team approach" (collaboration with nutritionists, physicians, and psychiatrist, etc.) in the treatment of eating disorders. I have been on local and national television and have co-hosted a radio program for teenagers.

Along with my private practice, I have appeared on the nationally syndicated television program, the Dr. Keith Ablow Show, as an expert in eating disorders. I am an active lecturer on the topic eating disorders and a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders and the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA).
