“I work primarily with adults and adolescents. I do family work in support of the individual work, but do not do ongoing family or couples therapy. I have experience working with a broad range of clients and problems but most of my experience is working with difficulties associated with depression, problems with expression of anger, and teen/parent difficulties.

I use a "solution focused" approach -- I try to focus on doing more of what works rather then less of what does not. I have a psychoanalytic background and use cognitive and behavioral techniques. In the past I have led groups with court referred adults and teens who have problems expressing their anger non-abusively.”
