Mr. Scott McGrath

“Therapist, Coach and Consultant working with individuals, couples, families and groups. Focus on adolescents, young adults and adults facing a variety of challenges in all life stages. Works as a Coach and Consultant with parents and educators and facilitates a professional group for other private practitioners. As part of his youth-focused work, Scott plans/delivers training programs and ongoing coaching for management/staff at a residential summer camp. Scott is also a Disability Counselor at a community college where he works with students challenged by mental illness and/or learning disabilities. Scott facilitates their success at school and beyond.

Focus: goal setting/attainment; relationships - personal/professional; parenting; behaviour management (child and adolescent); anxiety, stress, worry, fear, depression and anger; test, exam, presentation and interview readiness; life changes/transitions; self-esteem/identity formation; loneliness/social isolation; social skills; learning disabilities; and ADD/ADHD.

Client-Centred Integrative Approach using Counseling/Coaching techniques drawing on the principles of: Solution Focused Therapy; Strengths Based Strategies; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Relational Therapy; Systems Theory; and Attachment Theory.”
