I believe that life's struggles can have multiple causes. That is, difficulties can be related to developmental issues, childhood or family-of-origin issues with deep-rooted histories or can be unexpected circumstances ranging from daily frustrations to traumatic life-altering events. My approach to therapy understands that much of our healing can be found in an empathic, supportive therapeutic encounter that challenges and supports individuals and couples on a journey of self-discovery. I believe that good therapy is found when a therapist collaborates with his/her clients in this journey of self-discovery.

Areas of Practice: Adults, Adolescents, and Couples related to struggles with trauma, grief/loss, emotional distress, childhood/family-of-origin issues, relational difficulties, identity struggles, divorce, spiritual issues, marital difficulties, and many other concerns.

I am an LPC candidate which means that I have completed my master's degree in counseling psychology and am accruing the necessary hours to become licensed. As a candidate, I charge lower fees than most licensed therapists, and consult weekly with a licensed supervisor.
