I believe that each individual carries the potential to be a whole being capable of achieving his or her dreams and receiving and giving love. What individuals experience along the way, be it depression, anxiety, relationship problems, cultural conflicts or other experiences are the communications coming from within. In a safe and caring environment individuals can verbalize these communications.

I use a psychodynamic approach through empathy, understanding, and attunement in order to facilitate new ways of relating to one's self, to family, to friends and to the world.

I have seven years of experience in Duluth Model Domestic Crises Intervention. I was raised in a Muslim culture where the East meets West. As a result I have deep respect and understanding for the core of every religion. I have been practicing and educating myself in Sufism and Buddhism.
