Shannon Lawless

I am a relationship therapist specializing in individual, couples, family and sex therapy, and maintain a private practice in Ottawa West (Kanata). In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for. Through the provision of services I hope to support clients as they achieve new understandings, enact change in their daily lives, and seek out balance and well-being in all facets of life.

My therapeutic approach is based in values of collaboration, mutual respect and compassion. As such, the services I provide are supportive, non-judgemental, as well as respectful and honouring of all forms of diversity (LGBITTTQ friendly). I often pull from narrative, solution-focused, emotion focused, and dialogic approaches.

I have received additional training in sex therapy. I offer services specific to sex therapy (individual, couple or polyamorous sessions), as well as using ideas from sex therapy in relationship/couples therapy.
