My idea of the ideal client is someone who wants to live more consciously - becoming more aware of intentions and choices. Being able to see that we can create our own reality by our thoughts and actions. Clearly those who are having problems with their sexual behaviors benefit from choosing to live consciously by gaining insight into what drives their addictions. The next step is learning how to motivate oneself to make better choices.
I use both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches in treatment. My specialties include individual, couple and group therapy.
I also have a forensic practice and work with court referred clients. I administer the Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest (AASI) and the Multiphasic Sex Inventory (MSI II). Polygraph referral is also part of my forensic practice.

This is an open group for those dealing with sexual addiction. This may include those whose sexual behavior has resulted in legal consequences. We address the underlying issues that led to the sexual addiction in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

This group will address the significant and sometimes overlooked needs of partners of those with sexual behavior problems by providing a safe community with the objectives of transcending pain and learning to honor, trust, and respect oneself. Group members will learn about themseves and their partners, and in the process, learn to establish healthy boundaries in their relationships and move from immobilization or reactivity to a life of hope, greater self-esteem and increased opportunity.
