“Staying stuck in personal problems, parenting challenges, in-law issues or living in the "sandwich" generation (caring for aging parents while raising your own family)can affect your quality of living and prevent you from enjoying a peaceful, actualized life. Having balance and harmony can allow you to have time and energy for taking an occasional risk, whether you want to sky dive, go back to school or change careers. I am blessed to be able to work with a wide variety of people with various issues.

My areas of expertise are eating disorders, depression/stress, couple counseling/divorce recovery, self esteem/women's issues, adolescent issues, sexual abuse and other trauma, grief and adjustment to loss.

Helping individuals navigate emotions rather than avoid or self-medicate is a goal at St.John Center. Addictions, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and maladaptive behaviors represent an effort to keep feelings under control. I help my clients tackle complex relationships with their emotions, their relationships with friends and family.”
