Sheila Hunter

Counselor , MA , LMHC , CCH

(425) 405-6433
My clients wrestle with a wide range of issues, such as trauma (auto accident, veterans), relationships, everyday stuff, cancer patients, lifestyle changes - e.g. job change, interpersonal communication, and spiritual issues.
Background: Snoqualmie Valley resident for almost 3 decades, therapist for over two decades - worked for the large King County mental health agencies and Child Welfare Services, private practice since 2005, and had a verbal contract with the Snoqualmie Tribe. Specialized training in Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Lifespan Integration, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
Although I was involved in the court system for almost 20 years, I do not write reports to the courts (custody, divorce, e.g.) or to L&I. Also, I do not treat certain conditions such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, children, and adolescents, and I do not "do" marriage counseling.
