Whether the event was military service, an auto accident or abuse in childhood, treatment of these "disorders of traumatic stress" can help. Psychotherapy Associates is a group of clinicians with specialized training and experience in treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, and a variety of depression and anxiety related concerns related to exposure to traumatic events.

We understand how painful dealing with traumatic events can be, and how much of an impact upon the present day it can have. We can help you face your past gradually, with support, and in a way that will increase your sense of control.

I divide my time between treating patients, providing consultation to other professionals, and teaching therapists about traumatic stress. If I am not able to work with you personally, I will be happy to visit with you about your problem and to match you with a therapist whose expertise fits your needs.
