“I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in counseling psychology from Rutgers University. I have been practicing in the field for over fifteen years and have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy working with both male and female clients from ages eight to older adult and offer individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. Though my clinical training has been primarily cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic, I believe it is important to consider each client's unique experiences during therapy. I also offer psychological assessment services, including adoption and ovum donor evaluations, personality testing, and evaluations for gifted placement.

My philosophy is that change is always possible and to treat every client I see with respect, empathy, and honesty. Some of the clinical issues commonly presented by my clients include depression, anxiety, parenting, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, adoption, reproductive challenges/infertility, and obsessive/compulsive patterns.

My approach is to work as a team with my clients to facilitate self-understanding in a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Such insight, along with tools for managing distress, prepares individuals to make the most effective decisions in their lives and ultimately, achieve a greater sense of well-being.”
