Ms. Shoshana Jacobson

I work with individuals, couples, and families, treating them with warmth, acceptance and respect. I help people struggling with relationship issues both with their partners and others, as well as a client's relationship to him or herself. My approach is strength based. With each client, together, we discover the person's unique capabilities, talents and experiences and apply them toward achieving the client's goals in therapy. I help clients deal with situations which seem hopeless to them, and work with them to find manageable solutions.

Many people come to therapy when dealing with a crisis or when they feel completely stuck. Usually these uncomfortable situations motivate people to move from counterproductive behaviors, to healthy ways of dealing with their lives.
