“As your therapist, my goal is to help guide you along a sometimes difficult and confusing, yet rewarding journey. My style is to offer suggestions, address self-defeating thoughts/behaviors, and lead clients from the past to the present in order to note unhealthy patterns or obstacles in the way of personal growth and happiness. By making changes in perceptions and attitudes and being willing to see situations with a new pair of glasses, you can reach your goals. My clients state that they enjoy the homework between sessions and my humor. I use Somatic Experiencing techniques to treat trauma.

It is vital for the client to be involved in creating realistic and achievable goals. I am experienced as a Therapist, Supervisor, and Clinical Director with individuals/couples/groups/families in agencies and private practice for 20 years. I am also Chemical Dependency Counseling certified and Intermediate Somatic Experience Practitioner.
