Adult psychotherapy specialties include depression, anxiety, couples counseling,self-esteem, stress, anger management, drug and alcohol. I have 20 years experience working with families, children, and adolescents. Issues include defiance, non-compliance temper tantrums, academic failure, school problems, socialization skills, children of divorce/separation, teasing/bullying, and poor self-esteem.

Cognitive behavioral therapy is often used as it's been proven by research to be the most effective for depression and anxiety, two of my specialties. For couples and family therapy,a "systems" approach is used which stresses communication, problem-solving, parenting, conflict resolution, division of labor, caring behaviors, etc.
