If you’ve made it here, I’m sure you’d like to feel more in control and powerful without neglecting the people and things you care about. The problem is that daily stressors, illness, family pressures, lack of boundaries and trauma keep us feeling stuck and emotionally overwhelmed. Therapy helps us clarify our values, increases emotional resilience, decreases overall stress, allows us to feel understood and gives us our power back. I work with women ages 19+ and the LGBTQ+ population to help you achieve these goals in a safe, affirming environment.
I work from a holistic-feminist perspective, focused on creating meaning while helping you to manage emotional distress and relationship issues. Our work together will focus on your whole person, including a wellness approach to mental health. Additionally, I practice EMDR and the Safe and Sound Protocol for nervous system resiliency.
The therapy room should be a safe, nurturing environment for you to address issues that have caused you pain or confusion. It is my belief that the client-therapist relationship is the foundation for change, so I tailor each session to meet your needs and goals. We will work together to develop solutions that promote healing and growth in your life.
