Dr. Swim is the Executive Director of Now I See a Person Institute using Community Engagement: A Collaborative Recovery Model. Dr. Swim is a Retired faculty at the Department of Counseling and Family Sciences at Loma Linda University.Retired Adjunct Faculty, Houston Galveston Institute, Associate, Taos Institute specializing in practicing,teaching and supervision from a strength based viewpoint. She is an Editor Emeritus for the Journal of Systemic Therapies, on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Qualitative Research, and an Associate Reviewer for International Journal of Collaborative Practices. She invites a warm and caring space for all age groups.
She developed Community Engagement and has graduate and post graduate students assisting from many universities. She has thirty-two years experience of working with individuals, couples, families, and group psychotherapy. Anxiety, depression,autisum, eating disorders, behavioral issues with children, teens, adults, substance abuse, eating disorders. career problems, and life coaching.
