“I am a friendly, down-to-earth active listener. I compassionately empower women and men to improve the quality of their relationships and lives. Within the framework of humanistic, psychodynamic, and social systems philosophies,I effectively use cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and insight-oriented therapeutic skills. I promote practical change, healing, reconciliation, and growth. I facilitate people's journeys through challenging crises, life transitions from college graduation to retirement, emotional problems, and internal distress. I believe in every person's capacity to tap into their inner strengths and resources to successfully adapt and enhance the quality of their life experience.

My special areas of interest include anxiety, panic disorder, chronic stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, various types of depression, women's issues, marital therapy, and grief counseling. I teach life and relationship skills including stress management, effective communication, and conflict management. I support personal, interpersonal, and spiritual growth.

In addition to degrees in psychology and social work, I have a masters in pastoral studies. I offer secular mental health therapy and integrative counseling addressing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of people's lives. I enjoy personal, relationship, and spiritual coaching.”
