I am a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Lexington with an office conveniently located on Blazer Parkway. I have been well trained in the treatment of Child and Adolescent psychiatric issues. However, I believe the relationships that I develop with my patients and families are the key to successful outcomes. In our office we attempt to be respectful, courteous and of course confidential. I feel medicines are very useful in many conditions but I also know how important therapy is. I often work with other providers in a team approach when requested by patients and families.

The specialty of Child Psychiatry encompasses the treatment of behavioral disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, mental retardation, substance abuse issues, learning and communication disorders, developmental disorders, eating disorders, and tic disorders. When issues begin to interfere with success at home, school or with peers then treatment should be sought.

We have weekend appointments available which benefits working parents. It also decreases school absences. We accept Humana insurance and we do fee for service for others also. Our patients tell us they do not feel rushed and our goal is to be accessible.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
