It is my belief that every individual is unique - having within them the power to enjoy a healthy, well-proportioned life, evenly balanced in mind, body, and spirit. I work with individuals & couples to bring about powerful healing and lasting change. In my therapist role, I seek to create a safe, supportive environment and trusting relationship to support one's search for their authentic self. My approach to therapy emphasizes collaborative exploration of the client's struggles, and is combined with a passion for helping others heal, and a focus on encouraging personal growth to discover one's fullest potential.
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology to bring about long lasting change and development, helping clients to discover the core issues to their struggles for deeper healing. In being mindful that each client is unique, I use an Electic approach using various therapuetic methods to treat the "whole" person.
As a part of my professional services in counseling couples for marital therapy and pre-marital counseling, I utilize comprehensive assessments, combined with other dynamic tools for deeper healing and growth. I use a client-centered approach to customize treatment plans for couples seeking marital recovery and assisting partners through the pre-marital counseling process.
