“I help my clients make strong,satisfying connections with others (whether romantic, as parents, or in the workplace) and - most importantly - with themselves. In therapy, you discover how old beliefs and fears keep you from connecting with others in the way you'd like. Both of us are active; you get to know about how your unique circumstances and history have shaped you and why it's been so difficult to change. As you come to understand yourself better, the ways in which you can change become clear. Your life will then reflect more of what you've wished for.

My educational background includes: MA in Clinical Social Work from the University of Illinois, 1973, a Post-graduate fellowship at Mt. Zion Hospital Psychiatric Department, 1973-1975, a doctorate from the California Institute for Clinical Social Work,1999,as well as post-doctoral training. I have been licensed since 1976.”
