Marriage & Family Therapist , MS , LMFT

I am excited to that you are considering me to be your therapist. I am trained in relational therapies and believe in the power of relationships both as a means of change and as a reason to change. Relationships have great power, for good or bad. I seek to help others improve their relations in a safe, warm and caring environment. I have extensive experience in the treatment of addiction and in relapse prevention planning and support. Additionally, I am committed to assisting male victims of sexual abuse in finding treatment options that aid them in the process of recovery.
Relational therapies have powerful effect on the lives of those willing to engage them. Much of what we do in life is determined by our desire or lack thereof to be in relationships. Further, much of the difficulty that we experience is a direct result of the health of our relationships.
Male sexual abuse is receiving increasing attention but is not widely treated as a specialty. Men who have been sexually abused face difficulties from gender identity issues, troubles with intimacy, shame, poor self-esteem, and have few if any safe places to discuss their experiences. I seek to provide this safety.
