Mr. Trevor Yingling

Counselor , LMHC

(401) 519-7817
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who received a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University. I possess 8 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. I provide exemplary marriage and family therapy services, typically focusing on improving communication styles and conflict resolution strategies. I have considerable experience in counseling adolescents presenting with mood lability (bipolar), depression, anxiety, oppositional behavior, and school difficulties. I generally utilize cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral (DBT) techniques; however, I have become adept at implementing techniques from alternative modalities to coincide with each client's specific needs.
I am a certified Suicide Awareness and Prevention Trainer, and I possess a substantial amount of experience counseling adolescents presenting with self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation.
At Anchor Counseling Center, we work diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all our clients and their families.

Rich has been a professional inspiration for me. His complete dedication to the well-being of his clients is something that I continue to strive to achieve. Rich has found the balance between hard-working and compassion which many of therapists never accomplish. I whole-heartedly recommend contacting Rich for your mental health needs.
Trevor is an exceptional therpapist who is wonderful with children and families. He provides his patients with the psyco-education and supportive counseling they need in order to make the changes they want in their lives.
