I work with adult individuals and couples in my psychotherapy practice. I bring an eclectic approach to my work and draw upon different theoretical models to inform my treatment hypotheses and style, which is interactive.
Whether a patient has an immediate problem to be addressed or wants to examine one's past for greater understanding, I believe that psychotherapy can be a lifeline for many in these complicated, troubling, confusing times in which we live. My goal is to be a dedicated, trustworthy, empathic, calm support as one tries to navigate life's complexities and make desired changes.
I am particularly interested in relationship issues, which include dating, cohabitation, marriage, infidelity, parenting, separation and divorce. I'm also desirous of working with family conflicts, workplace difficulties, depression, anxiety, stress and self-esteem issues. The creative community is most welcome.
My past work experience prior to becoming a psychotherapist includes skills developed in the business and nonprofit worlds: advertising account management, development positions in two nonprofit groups and my own consulting firm working with not-for-profit organizations. This experience is invaluable in helping patients deal with their career concerns.
