"Wilson Consulting: Working Together To Meet Your Needs." The aforementioned is the basis of my therapy and consulting practices. The clients best suited for my practice include individuals who feel that no one else has ever been able to understand or help them. If you are looking for someone to be empathetic and supportive, you have found the person! I am well known for my work with individuals, children, adolescents and families, people who are experiencing rages and angry outbursts, couples in need of therapy, individuals experiencing depression, individuals who have survived a terrible trauma, grieving individuals, sexual perpetrators, people who engage in self-injurious behaviors and people who need an advocate. I am passionate about what I undertake. I have always made myself available throughout the day as difficulties occur at all times of the day, not just during "regular business hours." I want everyone to understand that we are not defined by one moment in our lives but by many. My clients have always told me that I am easy to talk with, passionate, motivational, kind and caring.
Wilson Consulting specializes in clinical assessments, specialized and individualized treatment and therapy, treatment plan development, extensive collaboration, behavioral modification plans, clinical supervision and mentoring. I work very well with individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families. My clients seem to thrive in the therapeutic environment that we create together.
I am a proponent of treatment and education and very frequently provide didactic training. I also became a certified fitness trainer to meet the holistic and ever-growing needs of my clients. Additionally, I think "outside the box" when it comes to therapy intervention. If a client would prefer to meet outside of the office and it is therapeutically appropriate, we can certainly do that.
