I have a general practice with individuals, couples,and families. People come with the hope of improving their relationships at home and at work.
The effort is on managing their own stress levels, learning about self regulation and reactivity in all of their relationships (examination of daily habits, spiritual life, technology management, etc) People often are requesting assistance in managing life's challenges( illness, death, parenting, premarital, marriage, and stepfamily information).
They are interested in becoming the best "self" that they are capable of becoming in relationship to others. The relationships surrounding the client are part of the discussion.
I am on the Faculty at the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family ( thebowencenter.org) and the Extraordinary Leadership Seminars ( hsystems.org)
If people are interested in the study of
their position in their family as it impacts their life course, then my practice would be appropriate
I laugh a lot, and this is part of my style: if people are in need of a serious consultant, I would not be the right person. I am a volunteer for guide dogs and have a dog named Spirit who is sometimes present and lays quietly in the office.
