If you need some help with mood disorders, anxiety, life stress, managing anger, or recovering from a trauma, I'm here to help. If you just feel you're a total mess or need help coping with dysfunctional friends or family members, I work with that, too. I offer evidence-based individual counseling (ACT, DBT skills, EMDR, CBT) in a laid-back environment where we work as a team to achieve measurable therapeutic goals. I practice online and treat clients in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. When you call, it's me- not an answering service or system. My priority is to help you identify what strategies work for you. Everyone is different, and I have over 20 years of experience to draw from. I am EMDRIA-trained since 2005 and Board Certified in Telemental Health. Your comfort is important, as is the effectiveness of treatment, and we work together to go at your pace to get results.
Individual services for adolescents 16+ as well as adults. I especially enjoy sci-fi/ fantasy informed clients, and working with gamers, Star Wars fans, and people with slightly irreverent senses of humor. My current clinical interest is in using IFS "parts" in conjunction with EMDR therapy, which I have been using since 2005.
