Surviving to Thriving: Support for victims of DV
This 10-week support group for women victims of domestic violence is designed for women who have experienced domestic violence in previous relationships and are committed to living violence free. This group will encompass education around the power and control wheel, continuum of violence, the effects of DV on children, post-separation abuse, interactions with the larger system and warning signs of power and control within relationships in the future. Each group will allow time for processing member experiences and emotions in a safe, therapeutic environment. This group will be provided in an online format, however other accommodations can be made for safety if needed.

This group is suitable for adults who have experienced shaming, verbal abuse, unachievable standards, households with addiction or severe mental health, parents with a cluster B disorder or other negative emotional trauma within the caregiver/child relationship. This group will meet online to allow for greater location flexibility. Medicaid in the Denver Metro Area Accepted.
