I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have conducted therapy for more than 20 years in both English and Spanish. I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression and relational conflict. I provide individual, family and couples therapy. I provide a safe, caring and nonjudgemental environment where clients can explore feelings, eliminate dysfunctional patterns and develop new life skills that can lead to living a life filled with more honesty, peace and joy. I received my BA from Boston College and my MA and EDS in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University.
I take pride in helping parents, their children and adolescents struggling with emotional, social, behavioral, academic or developmental issues. I provide psychological and ADHD diagnostics. I use proven techniques to help clients develop life strategies to improve relational patterns, mind-body-spirit connections and ultimately, function with stability.
My approach is individualized, interactive and relational. I can also provide therapy in Spanish, using a sensitive approach that addresses acculturation and helps bridge the cultural gaps that may cause negative symptoms.
