People tend to suffer alone in silence with Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Distress, Eating Disorders and Grief over loss for far too long. I am an Associate Clinical Psychologist - Massachusetts General Hospital & Clinical Instructor - Harvard Medical School. I have over 30 years of experience doing individual, couples and group psychotherapy. More important than my extensive experience working with adults and adolescents is my approach to treatment. I am a warm, engaging, interactive therapist. In order to alleviate pain associated with depression and anxiety my patients and I go on a journey to discover the roots of problems.
We then work together to develop better coping strategies to deal with those underlying issues. If you don't address the cause, symptoms will reappear. I am certified in Animal Assisted Therapy. "Henry" is a calm, gentle Black Lab who is eager to be part of your healing process.
Coping with the death of a loved one can feel intolerable. You believe no one can really understand YOUR pain. You are right. But, you are also not alone. I am a certified grief counselor. The pain never truly goes away but it is possible to live a fulfilling, love-enhanced life along side of the grief. I offer both individual therapy and a grief group.

Depression, Anxiety & Relationship Conflict Group
I have 2 ongoing psychodynamic psychotherapy groups. Patients work actively on the issues that bring them into therapy: Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Concerns, Unresolved Family of Origin Conflicts & Life Transitions. Patients range in age from 26-65. Each group has men, women, non-binary members and varied sexual orientations. Some members are married others are divorced and most are in their 20s and 30s at various phases of wanting to date, dating or questioning engagement. Cost $100-$150 per session. Group 1 Tuesdays 6:45-8:45PM Group 2 Thursdays 7:00-8:30PM.
