I offer expressive art and somatic therapies for adolescents, adults, and families. With over 20 years of experience as a clinical counselor, my specialties include: art therapy, trauma resolution, treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, as well as creating a meaningful and satisfying life and handling unexpected or overwhelming life stressors. My practice is highly individualized, focusing on client and family strengths to promote healthy patterns of communication and positive regard.
I have advanced training in trauma resolution, including Somatic Experiencing, Transforming Touch, and EMDR.
I maintain Registration and Board Certification as an art therapist. Art therapy is a powerful approach for people of all ages. Artistic talent is not required; a willingness to participate in the process is all that is necessary. Art interventions are integrated into treatment on an individualized basis.
