My goal is to provide a safe environment for you to explore past concerns, current challenges, and future directions. Together, we will work on helping you realize that you have the resiliency and ability to overcome negative thoughts, problematic behavioral patterns, and emotional blocks. I use a range of techniques to help you most effectively achieve your goals. My general approach is cognitive-experiential and non-directive in nature, allowing you to explore your issues and find solutions without feeling pressured. I am a licensed psychologist who has experience working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, career concerns, sexual concerns, troubling dreams and nightmares as well as assessing psychological, cognitive, and career abilities. I am available during daytime hours, evenings, and Saturdays.
In addition to providing quality clinical services, I also have experience in university teaching, scholarly work, and presenting to professional and lay audiences. I find that my teaching and scholarly work inform and enrich my clinical practice.
