My therapy practice, Neil D. Shere and Associates, is composed of seven highly skilled, dedicated and compassionate therapists. Each of our therapists is highly qualified, and offers a personalized approach to mental health counseling. As the owner and director of the practice, I view the therapeutic relationship as one of collaboration and support, working together in a client centered, individual growth model of therapy.
With over 25 years of clinical practice experience, I have worked with a wide range of clients experiencing personal and interpersonal challenges in their daily lives. My special interests include mood disorders, anxiety and relationship concerns, and my primary treatment method is solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy.
I bring empathy, compassion and a wide range of skills to our therapeutic partnership , with the goal of promoting emotional wellness and a balanced, more centered life experience for my clients. My credentials include a Master's Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work, Board Certification in Social Work and a Doctoral degree in Education.
